The landscape shapes your days in a way that feels honest and grounding: the forest at your doorstep, the peaks always in sight, and the hotel becoming your basecamp for movement, warmth, and clarity.

The Monte Rosa Ski area stretches across wide valleys, offering long, pistes and the kind of alpine quiet that makes every run feel personal. Conditions are consistent, the views are vast, and the mountain adapts to every level of confidence and curiosity.

Beginner skiers have several pistes that ease them into the season with calm, intuitive terrain.

Sant’ Anna unfolds gently across spacious, open slopes — ideal for finding balance and rhythm without pressure. Punta Jolanda keeps everything simple and controlled, giving you the space to practise your turns at your own pace.

Larici, a blue piste, is the perfect step forward. Broad and scenic, it starts with a soft glide through larch woods before opening onto a panoramic stretch where you can pick up a little speed and enjoy full alpine views. It’s smooth, playful, and built for growing confidence.

For an intermediate skier wanting more movement, the Jolanda piste becomes a natural progression. Its steady gradient and long descent let you shift between faster sections and moments where the valley opens wide beneath you. It’s satisfying, warm on the legs, and easy to repeat.

And for those who want something sharper, Leonardo David delivers. Steep from the top and technical throughout, it’s a run that demands precision and rewards experience. Named after the legendary Italian skier, it’s the piste that stays with you — the one you talk about at dinner.

After a day on the mountain, the energy changes. The spa brings heat, calm light and water that lets the body settle. Evenings at the restaurant move slowly, shaped by seasonal ingredients and easy conversation, with the peaks outside fading into deep blue.

At Aethos Monterosa, the ski season isn’t defined by speed or distance. It’s defined by how the mountains make you feel — focused, alive, and deeply connected to where you are.
