Terms and Conditions

RATES

Rates quoted are per room, per night based upon the room and occupancy selected (unless otherwise specified), subject to availability. Normal supplements apply for upgraded accommodation, additional guests and product addons. Rates are applicable for new bookings only. All prices shown are applicable at the time of booking, are not valid in conjunction with any other offer and are subject to change without prior notice. The full price for each reservation, with the addition of all extras incurred during your stay, is to be settled in full before departure. VAT is included at the current prevailing rate where applicable. City Tax is not included and will be collected at the time of check-in.

BEST RATE 7 DAYS

INCLUDING BREAKFAST: Breakfast and access to the wellness area is included in the room rate.
INCLUDING HALF BOARD: Breakfast, dinner and access to the wellness area, is included in the room rate, for the length of your stay. While savoring the amazing view of the surrounding mountains, you will discover our food specialties by tasting the traditional alpine cuisine, with a modern twist in a cozy atmosphere. With a minimum stay of 7 nights, you can choose to have one dinner at our signature restaurant “1568”, to better discover the unique flavors and ingredients found in the mountainous regions of Europe. The half board is applicable only for dinner and drinks are excluded.

PAYMENT: A credit or debit card is required to guarantee your booking. Debit and credit cards will be pre-authorized for the balance of your stay 7 days before arrival. The relevant debit or credit card must be presented at the time that you check-in at the Aethos Hotel.
CANCELLATIONS: You can cancel or change your reservation free of charge up to 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. No further charges will be made for cancellations received 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.
NO SHOWS: If you fail to check in on your scheduled arrival day, you will be charged 100% of the booking value.

BEST RATE 3 DAYS

INCLUDING HALF BOARD: Breakfast, dinner and access to the wellness area, is included in the room rate for the length of your stay. While savoring the amazing view of the surrounding mountains, you will discover our food specialties by tasting the traditional alpine cuisine, with a modern twist in a cozy atmosphere. With a minimum stay of 7 nights, you can choose to have one dinner at our signature restaurant “1568”, to better discover the unique flavors and ingredients found in the mountainous regions of Europe. The half board is applicable only for dinner and drinks are excluded.

INCLUDING BREAKFAST: Breakfast and access to the wellness area is included in the room rate, for the length of the stay.

INCLUDING HALF BOARD: Breakfast, dinner and access to the wellness area, is included in the room rate, for the length of the  stay. While savoring the amazing view of the surrounding mountains, you will discover our food specialties by tasting the traditional alpine cuisine, with a modern twist in a cozy atmosphere. With a minimum stay of 7 nights, you can choose to have one dinner at our signature restaurant “1568”, to better discover the unique flavors and ingredients found in the mountainous regions of Europe. The half board is applicable only for dinner and drinks are excluded.

HIGH SEASON RATE

PROMOTIONAL BOOKINGS

RATES: Bookings are taken at the discretion of the individual hotel. Offers are subject to availability and change. Only a certain number of rooms are available at each hotel on selected dates. Each hotel sets aside a limited number of rooms for offers. When this allocation is reached the hotel cannot usually accept any more bookings at these prices although it may not technically be full. Peak night supplements may apply and vary according to the day of week and the season. These rates are applicable for new bookings only. Normal supplements apply for upgraded accommodation. We reserve the right to amend offers as appropriate. Where applicable, payment is required in full at time of booking and this is non-refundable and non-transferable. These rates cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

RESTAURANTS TERMS & CONDITIONS

MENU: The menu is a seasonal menu, sourced with local producers and growers whenever possible. The menu is subject to change without notice and maybe limited based on availability.

ALLERGIES: Prior to ordering, please make the staff aware of any food allergies that you may have. We work professionally and follow the highest higienic standards, however it is of widespread knowledge that food contamination of allergens may occur, as we utilize the most diverse ingredients in a unique environment. We disclaim all liability and responsibility for any accidental contamination that may occur.

SUMMIT
– Breakfast is served daily from 7:00am to 10:30am.
– Lunch is available daily from 12:30pm to 3:00pm and dinner is served daily at Summit from 7pm to 10pm.

1568: open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 7pm to 930pm.

RESERVATIONS: While reservations are not required, they are highly recommended due to limited availability during peak service hours.

SPA TERMS & CONDITIONS

SPA ONLINE BOOKING: To schedule or reschedule a treatment booked online you must contact the spa directly with at least 48hrs notice. Same restrictions apply to all online bookings regarding medical conditions. For more information please contact the spa direct or via the ‘contact us’ link.
SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT: To schedule an appointment for your perfect treatment, please contact our Spa who will be able to guide you to the right choice. To ensure your preferred time and service is available we recommend booking in advance.
APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION: If a treatment needs to be canceled or rescheduled, 
we kindly ask you to inform us 5 hours ahead of time. The treatment will be charged in full for late cancellation or rescheduling.
ARRIVAL TIME: Please allow sufficient time before your treatment to complete a Spa Consultation Form. We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes before your treatment so that you can change, relax and enjoy the spa facilities. Whilst we will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, we cannot guarantee any extension of the treatment and cannot reduce the price accordingly.
SPA AGE REQUIREMENTS: Access to the sauna, steam room, hot tub and
a relax area is granted to adults above 16 years old. We are delighted to offer treatments for children over the age of 16 years old. Please contact the spa team for details on treatments available for our younger guests. We would require signed permission from a parent or guardian for 16 and 17-year old’s to receive any treatments.
EUROS: All prices are quoted in EUR and are subject to change at any time.
PREGNANCY/SPECIAL HEALTH CONDITIONS: When you first arrive at the SPA, we kindly ask 
you to fill out a form regarding your health. 
Please communicate to our staff if you have any health conditions that we should be aware of so that your treatments can be tailored accordingly. We have specially designed treatments for expectant women past their first trimester (3 months) or nursing mothers. Please allow our spa team to guide you in selecting which treatments are most suitable during this special time. For health and safety reasons, access to this 
area of the SPA is unfortunately not allowed to pregnant women, to those that suffer from low blood pressure, heart problems or those that carry a pace-maker.
VALUABLES: Aethos Spa accepts no responsibility for loss of valuables or jewelry at any time on the spa premises. It is possible to secure your personal items in the provided lockers. We do not bear any responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged items 
at the SPA.
SPA ATTIRE: We kindly ask our guests to always wear a bathing suit in the communal areas of the SPA. Hotel guests will find in their Suite a pair of slippers, 
a SPA towel and bathrobe, the same kit will be provided to external guests.
SPA ETIQUETTE: The SPA environment is relaxing and peaceful shared place made for relaxing and enjoying some quiet-time. We kindly ask our guests to respect the place and the people within, by speaking quietly and avoiding running and jumping. Also avoid any use of mobile phones, tablets or laptops in the SPA area, to guarantee privacy. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

ABOUT YOUR BOOKING

When you make a reservation at Aethos Hotels, the contract for your stay is with Aethos AG, Ober Altstadt 6, 6300 Zug, Switzerland.
GUARANTEED RESERVATIONS: When you make a booking with us, your reservation is guaranteed. By this we mean that we will provide the agreed standard of accommodation that you have booked from any of the suitable rooms available at the time you check-in.  Of course, you may change or cancel your reservation in accordance with these terms and conditions. In the unlikely event that we have to change or cancel your reservation, we reserve the right to do so (including, without limitation, offering the relocation of your booking to another hotel with similar standards). If this does arise you can: (a) accept the changed arrangements as notified; (b) make an alternative arrangement with us; or (c) cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of any monies paid.
RECEPTION HOURS: Reception is available 24/7
ONLINE CHECK-IN: It is highly recommended that guests check-in online, including name and ID information for persons staying in the room overnight. This will greatly improve the check-in process for the reception team and the guests.
CHECK-IN TIMES: Check-in is from 3:00pm. Your room may be available before 3:00pm, however, this cannot be guaranteed and, if required, the hotel will arrange storage of your luggage until your room is ready and guests will receive access to the facilities. If you will be arriving after 10:00pm, please contact reception in advance.
CHECK-OUT TIMES: Check-out is within 11am. 
EARLY CHECK-IN: Subject to availability and fee.
LATE CHECK-OUT: Subject to availability and fee.
HOUSEKEEPING: Housekeeping service is provided every day. Evening turndown is available upon request 
SMOKING POLICY: Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout all public areas and guest rooms. The use of E-Cigarettes throughout our hotels is also prohibited, in both public areas and guest bedrooms.  A €100 charge will apply to anyone found smoking in a guest room. The only exceptions are guest suites with a private balcony or terrace.
MINIBAR: The Minibar is provided in the guest suite, drink items are in the fridge and food and wine items in the kitchen and seating area. The guest is requested to notify reception on a daily basis of any items they have removed from the minibar, and if the minibar needs to be replenished. Minibar items are provided as a service and are chargeable. The cost of each item is on display next to the Minibar food and wine items. Missing items from the mini bar will be charged on the room bill. 
IN-ROOM AMENITIES: we provide a full set of room amenities, at your disposal. The housekeeping service checks the room upon departure: if there is any missing item, we will charge your room bill or your credit card. 
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Aethos Hotels processes personal information collected from you for the purpose of providing the hotel and accommodation services that we have agreed with you and providing you with information about products and services we offer. We will not sell this information and will only disclose it to other companies within the Aethos Hotels group of companies and any suppliers we engage to process data on our behalf. We monitor business calls for quality control and training purposes.
POOL: Children must always be accompanied by their parents when in, or by, the pool area. 
CHILD POLICY: Children are classed as those between the ages of 0 to 6 years age.  Campaign and promotional inclusions may differ. You can ask for a camping bed up to 3 years age, with no extra supplement. 
PET POLICY: Aethos Monterosa welcomes pets at an extra cost of € 50 per night. Pets cannot be left alone in the room. You are responsible for your own pet and any damage that may occur in the room. In case the housekeeping manager finds any damage, you will be notified of the costs of maintenance/reparation. You will be charged for the costs of the services. 
COMMENTS / COMPLAINTS: In the event that you have any reason to complain or have any comments, inform the hotel in question or write to Customer Services, giving your booking reference and full details of your complaint: Customer Services, Aethos AG, Ober Altstadt 6, 6300 Zug, Switzerland.
EUROS: Prices quoted are in Euros and payments can only be made in Euros at any Aethos Hotel.
PARKING: Cars are parked and left at the owners/guests own risk. Guest can park outdoor for free or in the garage for € 25 per night. The company does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to cars.
